Once again the Florida venue proved to be a happy hunting ground for Bertram. Riding the 9-year-old bay gelding Edison De Hus, Bertram was one of the last riders into the ring in the 1.45m ranking in the CSI5* show at Wellington International.

Allen & 9 yo Edison delivered the goods under pressure and stopped the clock in an impressive time of 27.70 seconds. This was the first international win for this combination. Owned by Ballywalter Stables and Maximillan Lill, Edison De Hus is a relatively new ride to Allen who has only been competing this gelding since December 2022.

German rider Richard Vogel and Accoton PS finished in third place in a time of 28.26 seconds, closely followed by Irish riders Coyle and Kenny.
