

Successful Week for Team Ballywalter in Gijon

Bertram and Harry had a highly successful week in CSI4* Gijon, Spain, delivering several strong performances.

Highlighting the week, Harry repeated last years winning form by taking 7-year-old Daredevil Z to victory in the Youngster final, after securing 5th place on Saturday.
Bertram delivered an impressive runner-up finish in the 1m45 Speed LR class aboard the talented 8-year-old chestnut gelding Gary de Cerisy, further extending their consistent streak of top results.
He also mirrored his success from Dublin by guiding the 10-year-old gelding Caprisco to a commendable 4th place finish in the 4* Grand Prix, where Harry and Calculatus secured 7th place.
In the 4* 1.50m class, Harry and Lukaku Vd Bisschoop delivered an outstanding double-clear round, finishing as runners-up with a time of 44.02 seconds, just behind Spains Alvaro Gonzalez De Zarate, who won with 43.54 seconds.
Harry also impressed with Kazelli, securing 5th place in the 2* Grand Prix.
Meanwhile, Bertram and the 7-year-old stallion Huricane delivered two strong rounds in the youngster classes, finishing 5th and 9th.
Overall, it was a fantastic week for Team Ballywalter in Spain, with both Bertram and Harry delivering impressive performances!
